It’s matchday, Reading United family. Mark it down: tonight’s match against Eagle FC was originally scheduled for tomorrow, July 1, and we moved it up to tonight, June 30, at 7:00 PM at Alvernia. Why? Because tomorrow the USMNT play their World Cup Round of 32, and we want every one of you free to roar them on. So come out tonight, then save your voice for the U.S. Here’s everything for a massive week in the 610.

TONIGHT · JUNE 30 · 7:00 PM · ALVERNIA

Eagle FC at Alvernia

USL2 Men vs Eagle FC, tonight, 7:00 PM (Alvernia University). The men are rolling. Back-to-back wins have lifted Reading (4-5-1) into third place, and we arrive tonight fresh off a season-high eight goals in that 8–2 Derby rout of PA Classics. This is just the second-ever USL2 meeting with Eagle FC, and we took the first one 3–0 earlier this summer.

Don’t sleep on the visitors, though. Eagle FC (0-9-1) are still chasing their first USL2 win, and a side with nothing to lose is exactly the kind that bites. Let’s pack the Alvernia turf field and keep the streak alive. Gates open one hour prior.

TOMORROW · JULY 1 · ROUND OF 32

Then It’s All Eyes on the USMNT

That’s exactly why we moved tonight’s match. Tomorrow, the U.S. play their World Cup Round of 32 against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Wednesday, July 1, 8:00 PM ET at Levi’s Stadium. Win and they’re into the Round of 16. Grab your flag, round up your crew, and better yet, watch it on the big screen at the FIFA Fan Zone in downtown Reading (details below). U-S-A!

THE WEEKEND · THE SCOREBOARD

A Derby Rout and a Hard-Fought Goodbye
Men · 8–2 vs PA Classics

USL2 Men 8–2 PA Classics (Sat, June 27, Alvernia). Eight goals, a roaring home crowd, and the first leg of the Keystone Derby firmly in red and gold. The kind of night that fuels a winning streak.

Women · 3–4 at PA Classics

WPSL Women 3–4 at PA Classics (Fri, June 26, Lancaster Bible College). The women closed their season with everything they had in a back-and-forth Derby thriller that came down to the wire. It stings to fall just short, but this group gave the 610 a summer to remember and wore the crest with pride every night out. Heads high, ladies. Thank you for the ride.

WORLD CUP · COMING TO THE 610

The World Cup Fan Zone Is Here

Reading United is helping host one of the official FIFA World Cup Fan Zones at Santander Arena in downtown Reading, teaming up with Berks County, the City of Reading, and the Philadelphia 2026 FIFA World Cup committee. Four days of watch-party action: July 3, 4, 18, and 19.
