What a week to be in the 610. Every team in the club is either coming off a match or about to play one, and it all builds to the biggest day on our calendar so far: Saturday, June 20, with all five Reading United sides in action.
Here’s where things stand, what to watch this weekend, and how to lock in the rest of the season.
This Week · The Scoreboard
A Draw, a Win, and a Road Battle
USL2 Men 2–2 Real Central NJ (Tue, June 16). The Men found the net twice for the second match running and shared the points at Alvernia. The attack is humming; now they take that form on the road.
Central PA Reserves 2–0 AFC Lancaster Lions (Wed, June 17). A clean sheet and a comfortable home win keep the Reserves rolling.
Mid-Atlantic Reserves 0–2 at LVU Rush (Thu, June 18). A tough night on the road in the season opener. They get a quick chance to put it right Saturday at Ocean City.

Today, June 19 · On the National Stage
USMNT vs Australia, 3:00 PM
The U.S. Men are on the world’s biggest stage this afternoon, facing Australia at 3:00 PM ET on FOX and Telemundo. Our advice: let the boss know the meeting ran long, find a screen, and get behind the national team. Then bring that energy our way the very next day.
WPSL · The Race for the Division
The Women Are in a Title Fight
The women went to the road Tuesday and ground out a 3-2 win at Hex FC Tempest, sealed by Ellie Leffler’s late-minute winner. That is the kind of gritty, battle-to-the-final-whistle result that wins divisions. They’re now neck and neck at the top of the Mid-Atlantic Commonwealth Division, and this is a straight title fight. Every result counts from here, starting Saturday night at home against Hershey FC.
Here’s what’s on the line. Win the division, and Reading United hosts the Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship right here at Alvernia (July 1–4). Win that, and we host the WPSL East Region playoffs too (July 11–12).
Home-field advantage all the way through the East Region is up for grabs. Come help the women earn it.
And mark the calendar: those East Region playoffs would land July 11–12, the very same weekend the Men host LVU Rush at Alvernia (yes, the free match in the End of Season Bundle below). Win through, and it could be a huge weekend of Reading United soccer right here in the 610.
