From first collegiate goals to weekly conference honors, RUAC alumni are making an impact at college campuses this fall.

Holly Skipper — Reading, PA · University of Akron (Freshman)
RUAC WPSL 2026 · Scored her first collegiate goal in Akron’s 4-0 shutout win over Mercyhurst on September 10.

Nate Herb — Fleetwood, PA · Shippensburg University (Junior)
RUAC Reserves and USL2, 2024–2026 · After earning PSAC Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week honors for the week of September 9, Herb scored in Shippensburg’s 3-0 win over Lackawanna.

Mason Booz — Mohnton, PA · University of Delaware (Freshman)
RUAC USL2 2026 · Scored his first collegiate goal in Delaware’s 4-3 loss to Maryland on September 4.

Two former Reading United coaches faced off in the Prinx Tires USL Cup Semifinals on September 8, with Hartford Athletic defeating Colorado Springs 2-1. A great example of how far the Reading United coaching tree has reached.

Beat Colorado Springs 2-1 in the USL Cup Semifinals
Led Hartford Athletic to the 2026 USL Cup Semifinals, facing former Reading United player and coach Alan McCann.

Alan McCann — Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (USL Championship) · RUAC 2018–2019
Coached Colorado Springs in the USL Cup Semifinals
Led Reading United to back-to-back division and conference titles and earned USL League Two Coach of the Year honors in both seasons.

October is almost here, and the playoff race across Berks County is heating up. Conrad Weiser (11-0-0) and Brandywine Heights have yet to lose a game. Wyomissing is unbeaten in Division 3 play, and Exeter holds the top spot in Division 1. Plenty of future Reading United players are on these fields right now. Go cheer them on.

Exeter leads Division 1, and Division 4 is a scramble, with Berks Catholic and Tulpehocken separated by a single tie. Get out and support the girls of the 610.
