Happy Thursday, Reading United family. A big week just got bigger. The men dug out a gritty 2–1 win at Delaware, the women survived with a point on the road, and now it all comes down to Friday night in Lancaster, where a win crowns our women division champions. And we’ve got news worth shouting from the rooftops: the FIFA World Cup is coming to downtown Reading this summer, and we want you in the building.

Men Take a Tight One at Delaware

USL2 Men 2–1 at Delaware FC (Tue, June 23, Abessinio Stadium). A quick turnaround paid off. The Men answered the call on the road, grinding out a close 2–1 result against Delaware to get right back in the win column and slowly climbing the standings. Three points on the road, and a confidence boost heading into Derby weekend at home.

Women Grind Out a Road Point

WPSL Women 0–0 at LVU Rush (Tue, June 23, Gwynedd Mercy University). We relied on our depth, and they put in a shift on the road. A tie with a clean sheet keeps us in the race for a winner-take-the-division finale on Friday.

Win and We’re Champions

WPSL Women at PA Classics, Friday, June 26, 7:00 PM (Lancaster Bible College). This is the one. It’s the regular-season finale, it’s the second leg of the Keystone Derby, and it’s the division title on the line in a single match. The first leg ended 2–2 at Alvernia back in May. Now the rematch decides it: win on Friday and Reading United are division champions, with a home playoff match to follow. Lancaster is a short drive down 222, close enough to be our second home. Let’s prove our support travels. Pile in the car, bring the noise, and let’s go win a title.

USL2 Men vs PA Classics, Saturday, June 27, 7:00 PM (Alvernia University). The very next night, the Keystone Derby comes home to the Fortress for the men. This is the first leg of their rivalry series with PA Classics, under the lights at Alvernia. Real rivalry, real history, and the one to circle on your calendar. Grab your seats and let’s pack the place. Gates open one hour prior.
