Reading United A.C. — A Pre-Professional Tradition
Reading United A.C. (formerly Reading Rage) is a pre-professional soccer club based in Reading, Pennsylvania. We field teams in the USL League Two — the top men’s pre-professional league in North America — and the WPSL, the longest-active women’s soccer league in the United States with a membership of 120+ teams.
Men’s — USL League Two
USL League Two is considered the 4th level of soccer in the United States — comparable to Single-A baseball — and serves as the proving ground for players aspiring to MLS and beyond. Players compete throughout the summer in a professionalized setting while maintaining collegiate eligibility, with current and former pros also using the league as a scouting platform.
Women’s — WPSL
The WPSL is the longest-active women’s soccer league in the U.S. and the largest in the world. Rosters consist of elite collegiate, post-collegiate, international, and standout prep athletes — 92% of WPSL collegiate athletes play for NCAA member institutions, with an average player age of 20.7.
