RESERVES

Stay Local. Get Next Level Ready.

Reading United’s pre-professional development pathway for college-bound and college soccer players.

WHAT IS A RESERVE TEAM?

Reading United Reserves is a structured player-development program designed to bridge the gap between youth soccer, college soccer, and the pre-professional game — all without leaving home.

Whether you’re a graduating high school senior preparing for college soccer or a current college player looking to stay sharp and competitive over the summer, the Reserve program gives you a professional training environment to grow, compete, and stay visible.

Players train alongside others who are serious about reaching the next level — college, USL2, WPSL, or beyond.

It’s not a recreational league. It’s a development platform with a proven pathway to Reading United’s first teams.

OUR RESERVE TEAMS

MEN'S U23 RESERVES

The Reading United Men Reserves will comprise two teams.  Each team will compete in a Casa Lague – Mid-Atlantic Division and PA Central Divsion.  The Casa league provides collegiate players an opportunity to play competitively over the summer, mid-May through mid-July.

Typicaly, the Reserve players will practice in the evenings, one to two nights a week.  Games will be weekday in the evenings or Sunday nights.

WOMEN'S U23 RESERVES

The Reading United Women’s Reserve team participates in the Central PA Conference of the CASA U23 Women’s Premier. Like the men, this team practices 2–3 times per week, competes in an 8-game season, and offers the opportunity to make the 20-woman roster of the WPSL team.

This team is open to U23 players and is in addition to your club team commitments — you don’t have to leave your club to play for us.
