The Meaning Behind Our Motto

Our motto, Stärke in Der Einheit, is German for “Strength in Unity.” We chose the German form to pay respect to the significant German heritage of the Greater Reading area — a community whose roots, traditions, and identity have helped shape the city we proudly represent.

To celebrate that spirit of togetherness, our team website features this motto in many languages — furthering our goal of unity and strength through the common language of the world’s game.
