A Tough Night in the Home Opener

We won’t sugarcoat it. Reading fell 2-0 to longtime rival Ocean City in our first home match of the season. Nick Papadoupolis rattled a shot off the post in the closing minutes on a night that could have gone differently. The Reserves match scheduled before kickoff was cancelled due to weather. Saturday’s game will be different.

Our U23 Women battled Back Mountain Torrent on the road and came up short, 5-0. These young women have the mindset. They will have their breakthrough. They’ll soon be back on home turf at Alvernia, and there’s plenty of Reserves action on the calendar this week.
