On Track – RUAC by the Numbers: RUAC WPSL at LVU Rush

Reading United AC Women’s 1st Team (5-0-1) begins its final week of regular-season play with a road matchup on Tuesday night against Mid-Atlantic Commonwealth foe LVU Rush (1-4-2).

2: Tonight’s match against LVU Rush is one of just two regular-season matches remaining for Reading United. With the postseason on the horizon, every point becomes increasingly important as the Train looks to finish the campaign strong.  

31: In their last match, Reading United earned a 2-1 victory over Hershey FC, marking the club’s 31st win in WPSL history. The match also featured the return of Rebecca Kotula, the first-ever player “signed” to the women’s program, making a notable impact in her return to the squad. 

3: Last season against LVU Rush, Reading United earned a commanding 3-0 victory. RUAC will look for a similar result tonight. 

5: After scoring twice against Hershey FC, Sophia Zeppos now leads Reading United with five goals on the season. The forward has also added an assist, giving her a team-high 11 points entering tonight’s match.
