On Track – RUAC by the Numbers: RUAC USL2 at Eagle FC

Reading United AC Men’s 1st Team (0-2-0) continues its opening road stretch tonight as they face off against Eagle FC (0-2-1) at Mountain View High School.

1:Tonight’s match is the first-ever meeting between the two clubs, with Eagle FC competing in its inaugural USL League Two season.

2:Both clubs have started the season slower than they’d like, each sitting on two early-season losses. While Eagle FC does have a draw to its credit, both sides are still searching for their first win tonight.

17:Seventeen to two — RUAC outshot Real Central NJ 17–2 on Wednesday night yet still dropped the match. In the 92nd minute, a long-range effort clanged off the crossbar as Reading continues to search for its offensive breakthrough.

180:Bucknell rising sophomore and Reading, Pa. native Jake Thomas has been a steady presence in the back line for RUAC, totaling 180 minutes through two matches.

473:With four away matches to start the season, the club will have traveled 473 miles before its first home match. Tonight’s fixture is the third of that road stretch, with more travel still ahead.
