On Track – RUAC by the Numbers: RUAC WPSL at Hex FC Tempest

Reading United AC Women’s 1st Team (3-0-1) hits the road tonight for a WPSL Mid-Atlantic Commonwealth clash against Hex FC Tempest (0-4-0). 

14: Following a fourteen-day layoff, RUAC returns to action tonight against Hex FC Tempest, bringing fresh legs into a match with valuable points on the line. 

3: In its last matchup, three players combined for the game winning goal when Ava Sallee’s low cross was flicked on by Holly Skipper and finished by Meghan McGonagle for the lone goal in Reading United’s 1-0 win over Keystone FC. 

3.2: Goalkeeper Sarah Gatz is averaging 3.2 saves per game, with each stop carrying increasing importance. Gatz anchors an RUAC defense that has conceded just two goals so far this season.  

4:  Anna Buckwalter, Sophia Zeppos, and Sarah Gatz all earned Week 4 recognition as RUAC continues to produce across every line of the pitch. Bucky was named National Defensive Player of the Week, Zeppy East Region Offensive Honorable Mention, and Gatzy East Region Goalkeeper Honorable Mention.

1: Week 5 East Region power ranking: No. 1. Reading United AC Women’s First Team has started the season strong and looks to carry that form forward.
