On Track – RUAC by the Numbers: RUAC WPSL at PA Classics

Reading United AC Women’s 1st Team (5-0-2) travels to face PA Classics (6-0-1) on Friday June 27th in the regular season finale and the latest chapter of the Keystone Derby.  

2: Just two points separate Reading United AC and PA Classics entering the regular-season finale. The winner claims the WPSL Mid-Atlantic Commonwealth title and advances to the Conference Finals.

3: The last three meetings between the two squads ended in draws. Last season’s matchups finished 1-1 in Reading and 33 in Lancaster, while this year’s Keystone Derby clash at Alvernia ended 2-2. 

0: Reading United heads into tonight’s match coming off a 00 draw against LVU Rush. The clean sheet was the club’s 4th of the season and kept the women unbeaten through seven matches. 

3: PA Classics enters tonight’s match on the heels of a 3-2 victory over HEX FC Tempest, earning three points in its most recent outing.

4: The inaugural Keystone Derby consists of four matches across WPSL and USL2 competition. Tonight marks the second chapter, with two men’s matchups still to come:  

  • Saturday, June 27th: at RUAC (USL2)
  • Sunday, July 5th: at PA Classics (USL2)

7/2: A win tonight sends the Reading United Women’s 1st Team to the Mid-Atlantic Conference Finals. If they advance, the final will be hosted at Alvernia University on July 2 at 7:00 PM, with ticket and match information to be announced soon.  

Tonight’s kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pa.
